Eva Be has been playing all over Europe the last 5 years, her set combines Downtempo Dubvibes a la Rhythmn and Sound with Deep House and Elektro Tunes. She released her debut album: Moving Without Traveling last Summer. Also available with her Live Band “Eva Be and The Bees”.
Since her contribution ‘Below’ to Dj Rogall’s Mix Cd ‘In Zession’, Dj Eva Be belongs to the Berlin based Sonar Kollektiv. Her Dub, Electro, House, HipHop, Downbeat and Breakbeat influenced Dj-sets gave the moniker ‘Berlin’s first lady of Dub, Electro and House’. Her first EP ‘Eve’s time tonite’ was released in 2004. Dj’s like Jazzanova, Dorfmeister and Dublex Inc played the record and featured it in their charts. Radiostations like the Austrian ‘FM4′ or the German RBB Radio played her tunes and pushed the tune ‘No memory of time’ to position 2 in the RBB Radio chart.
The English magazin ‘Straight no Chaser’ wrote about ‘No memory of time’: ‘You cant go wrong with Joe Dukies vocals. Here he hooks up with Berlin’s rising star Eva Be and delivers a touching lament for a lost love.An unassuming little groove that’ll get fixed in your head after a couple of listens. Look out for it.’
In the meantime Eva Be has received many requests to do remixes. Among other things for: Ye:solar, Micatone, Dublex Inc, Ady Zehnpfennig and Markus Enorchson.
