Les Gammas was founded by Marc Frank, DJ, drummer and singer and pianist Jochen Helfert. Jochen has been playing rhodes in a brasil-jazz combo - together with the Gammas' live bassist Pe Spier - where he has developed his own ideas of harmonics and sound. In '99 Les Gammas have played live as well in clubs and at festivals, e.g. "Fez Jazz Festival" in Bari, Italy, the "Wiesen Festival" in Austria and "Jazz 2010" in Aarhus, Denmark.LES GAMMAS finally were splitting and focusing on different projectes now.
